The Alliance is a non-profit, non-political, transnational consortial platform initiated by various Meitei organisations and individuals based outside the State of Manipur, India. Its broad objective is to foster&nbsp;<em>unity and progress<\/em>&nbsp;of Meitei&nbsp;<em>ethnie<\/em>&nbsp;worldwide. It envisions to play roles such as hyper-democratic unifying force on key Meitei issues and providing thought leadership through collaboration with eminent scholars, leaders, and experts. It also plans to enhance value creation by empowering individuals through innovative digital technology and media, positioning itself as a leading ethnic entity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch event was attended by invitees and representatives of several Meitei organisations from various cities of the United States of America, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, Middle East, and India. The most remarkable hallmark of the launch event was the adoption of Meitei Alliance\u2019s Constitution announced by member of the Board of Advisors Dr. Kh. Palin, a prominent figure of Meitei&nbsp;<em>ethnie<\/em>.
