The Meitei Alliance<\/strong> successfully conducted the Civic Responsibility Speech Competition<\/strong> today at the GP Women\u2019s College Hall, Imphal<\/strong>,<\/strong> as part of its ongoing educational initiative, My Manipur, My Responsibility<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was graced by Prof. W. Chandbabu, VC, DM University<\/strong> as the Chief Guest<\/strong> and Prof. L. Rajen Singh, Principal, GP Women\u2019s College<\/strong> as the Guest of Honour<\/strong>. The competition was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges: Chongtham Nandita, <\/strong>Col. (Retd.) Sapam Shantikumar, Ms. <\/strong>Mangka Mayanglambam, Mr. <\/strong>Raees Ahamed Tampak, and Mr. <\/strong>R.K. Nimai, IAS (Retd.),<\/strong>whose valuable contributions ensured a fair and inspiring competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After exceptional performances by all shortlisted participants, the winners were declared as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0Place:<\/strong>\u00a0Md. Irshad Ali,\u00a0Keirao Makting Maning Leikai<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    We are grateful for the many inspirational and insightful speeches, which we believe will certainly motivate the public and encourage deep reflection toward bringing positive change in our society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Meitei Alliance extends special appreciation to Ms. Hirom Ongbi Bijentimala <\/strong>for generously sponsoring the Third Prize<\/strong>, dedicated in loving memory of her late parents, Akoijam Kalabi<\/strong> and Akoijam Ongbi Thoinu<\/strong>. The Alliance deeply values this gesture of support, which strengthens the mission of promoting civic awareness among the youth of Manipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Civic Responsibility Campaign now moves into its next phase, where Meitei Alliance volunteers will engage withschools, colleges, and universities<\/strong> across Manipur. During these visits, students will be engaged and encouraged to write their personal pledges on civic responsibility, which will be displayed on Pledge Walls<\/strong> in their respective institutions. These walls, prepared and provided by the Meitei Alliance, aim to inspire lasting commitment to integrity, unity, and responsible citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To make this stage successful, the Meitei Alliance seeks the cooperation and support of the concerned educational authorities<\/strong>, as well as volunteers<\/strong> willing to assist in outreach and engagement activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Meitei Alliance will soon announce the theme and details of the next campaign<\/strong> under My Manipur, My Responsibility<\/strong><\/em>. The Alliance remains open for campaign theme suggestions from our wider community and remains committed to guiding the youth of Manipur toward civic responsibility, integrity, and social harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
